XYZ is in

Vince Horn has posted an interesting article on Buddhist Geeks, entitled "The Gen Xers: A New Breed of Dharma Teacher?" Some quotes:

"When I consider most of the teachers I’ve sat with, and many of the popular Western Buddhist teachers out there today, it is hard not to notice that they are starting to get a bit older. (...) This next wave of teachers, those who weren’t introduced to the dharma during the 60s and 70s, but rather started in the 80s and 90s, many of whom are part of the collective generally referred to as Generation X are now being trained and are coming into their own. The question that interests me is how will these teachers will change the face of Buddhadharma in the West. That they have a large impact on those of us 20-somethings (Gen Y baby!) is unquestionable. So what, if anything will be different with this new group of teachers?"
