Ken Wilber: "Ta-da"

Well, oh dear, this is simply the best article by Ken "Wyatt" Wilber. Perhaps not, but it's my new favorite anyway. After apologetic comments by many wilberites, I'll just pass - no comment here. I'm sure David Deida, who lamented about KW's goodness awhile ago, will be very happy - the Greatness is back in town, and it's having its dick sucked. Whoopieeee!!!

Quote: "So slurpee in hand, Wyatt Earpy rides on, undaunted and unfazed, although slowly putting on lead weight, but otherwise transcending and including more outlaws than any lawman dude type person in history. And when he dies, his posse will stand on the shoulders of his smiling corpse and carry on, transcending-and-including old Wyatt himself, in their own search for even more truth and goodness and beauty than even Wyatt could see, and they will succeed spectacularly, and thus it goes never-endingly…."

i guess in days to come it's goin' to be very interesting... many lack humour, choosing to retain a serious "academic" view of things. many are "dissapointed with ken wilber" as if he was their baby. projective over-sensitivity of this sort suffocates any authentic dignity, so ken has merely opened the windows to let some air in. if the air is not all roses, who's guilty of That? stay tuned. or do your own integral theory, or whatever...

I don't know, Hokai, how his post can be anybody's favorite article/essay.

You may be acting green by being a spiritual relativist. And this might all be revealed when The Ken removes the sheet over the rules to The Test.

I never liked surprize quizzes in eighth grade. I will not be happy if that is what all this is.

Hard for me to see the jewel that you find in all the pony manure. If there is any good and truth and beauty in Wilber's Big Blow, I sure don't see it ... yet.

[I added 'yet' so that I can be saved from perdition when the WilberForces spring up and purge the world of all absolute doubters. I don't want to be in the Winter Palace when it gets stormed.]

dear zen unbound, at the end of the day, all the hustle-bustle, all the feathers in the air, all will come to rest... but the Test is out already, don't you see, and i'm just a wilber sycophant, unable to find another hobby, and to scared to shoot Him in the back. come on, find some humour in there, or simply find something else to read, something you think makes perfect sense. it's a big blogosphere. but somehow i believe you will change you mind abou this.:-) godspeed.
